Indus AI Week, hosted by Sk Hub
It was a privilege to attend the London Outreach Event of Indus AI Week, hosted by Sk Hub. This remarkable event gathered a diverse group of policymakers, diplomats, tech trade unions, technology leaders, start-ups, investors, and members of the Pakistani diaspora. The evening provided a significant platform for advancing discussions on artificial intelligence, tech diplomacy, and global digital collaboration through high-level keynote addresses and engaging panel discussions.
The event was jointly inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Muhammad Faisal, Pakistan High Commission in London, and Prof. Sarwar Khawaja, PhD, FRSA, Chairman of The SK Hub. It emphasised technology as a strategic pillar of international relations.
A standout moment of the night was the historic address by Shaza Khawaja, Federal Minister for IT & Telecom. For the first time, a Pakistani Cabinet member addressed an international audience using a holographic presence, coinciding with the inauguration of the world’s largest hologram showroom.
