“At Seymour Taylor we passionately believe in giving something back to the community in which we have been a part of for over 100 years. CSR is something we do as part of our everyday roles; whether it’s supporting a local charity such as Scannappeal or the Chiltern Rangers, giving our team time to work with local initiatives such as Young Enterprise or bringing in a new system Caseware to reduce our paper wastage we are always looking at new ways to build on what we do. Our team enjoy getting involved with local projects and making a difference.

Back in 2018 we decided to go for CSR accreditation as we wanted to be recognised for all the work we do in this area. It was also a great opportunity to look at everything we had achieved and where there was scope for future development. The process was easy to do and we were given clear guidance on everything from the start including a handy pack which we could refer too. For each section we had to fill out it gave very specific instructions on what was required. We were proud to be awarded a Silver Accreditation for our work in this area and hope to go for Gold in the future. As a business we recognise the huge impact each and every one of us can have on such an important area. By applying for accreditation it has encouraged us as a business to continually look at ways of building on what we have already achieved.
