APPG for ESG 8th June Roundtable Minutes

It was a real education attending the APPG for ESG in early June.

Chaired by founder of the group Alexander Stafford MP the session focused on ESG Ratings and ESG Data in Financial Services.

The group listened to an eyeopening presentation by Nick Bonsall, Chair of the IRSG ESG ratings workstream, and Peter Beardshaw, Managing Director at Accenture, European & UK Sustainability Services Lead based on a recently published IRSG report in partnership with Accenture.

This excellent report explores the challenges the market faces in its present state and offers recommendations of steps industry, regulators and policymakers can take to futureproof the integrity and efficiency of the ESG Ratings Market. I highly recommend a read.
