CSR-A Exhibit at the IAA Conference
How do we align new build and retrofitting with climate resilience and social value?
It was a pleasure to attend the The Installation Assurance Authority (The IAA) Conference. Especially the day after the Chancellor has announced that the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is being shelved.
How does the sector move forward in ensuring better energy performance of existing housing. How can it ensure sustainability for future new builds? This will have a significant impact on fuel poverty, net zero, energy security community/social value and a new generation of green technologies and jobs.
I have certainly gained some invaluable insights from Deborah Chittenden, Selvin Brown, Ian Rippin and Nigel Donohue LLB first honours moderated by Sally Bundock.
The IAA is the technical authority and industry body that provides a quality assurance framework under a single compliance platform. Our framework gives homeowners, key stakeholders and funders the confidence that insulation work is carried out to the highest standards and subject to a level of rigor and surveillance which helps ensure it is done ‘Right First Time’.
