CSR-A publish article for the APPG for ESG

I am delighted to share an article I have written for the @APPG for ESG differentiating ESG from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This defines ESG as a board-level priority working from the top down. CSR, on the other hand, is inherently cultural, working its way upwards from the bottom.

One of my major concerns is the rapid proliferation of unregulated ESG consultants and advisors that threaten to cause market failure in this rapidly growing, but still immature domain of corporate reporting and investment. Robust regulatory frameworks are therefore needed.
